I already had a 12V DC adapter that I wanted to use to power the Marquee light. The problem was that is was a “standard” 5.5mm/2.1mm barrel, while the light connector was also a male but with size 3.5mm/1.35mm.
I was not able to find 1 adapter that could do both conversions (female 5.5mm/2.1mm to female 3.5mm/1.35mm) so instead I used 2 separate adapters:
